From majestic clownfish and delicate sea horses to captivating reef sharks and so much more, the Sharjah Aquarium's expansive array of over 150 species is sure to impress the friends, family and of course....your followers.
Sitting on the northern shores of Khalid Lagoon, this gem fuses nature, art, and entertainment all in a single location. In addition to amazing sculptures and the tranquility of the Literature Pavillion, the island is also home to the Butterfly House. Inspired by its inhabitants, the structure boasts over 500 species from all over the world.
Whether for dinner, fun times with family and friends or maybe just the obligatory lakeside selfie, Sharjah's Al Majaz Waterfront is a must visit. In addition, Al Majaz is host to tons of events for all tastes, from the Islamic Arts Festival to the Electric Run and the Sharjah Music Festival to name a few.
In an experience that promises to deliver new 'discoveries every time', this journey through the Mleiha Archaeological Centre gives you a break from the concrete jungle, taking you back in time to experience the history of traditional Emirati life....and share it with the present on social media.
6. Flag Island
Notable for having the UAE flag towering at a 123-meters high, the island features a stage, art gallery as well as a 1000 seat amphitheater. Host to numerous events, including a two-day music festival this past December.
Al Qasba is home to a myriad of fun filled and camera friendly attractions. Events are frequently hosted and there are tons of restaurant options as well.
If you're an aviation enthusiast (or would like to pretend to be one), this is the place for you. Built in 1932, the now Al Mahatta Museum (since March 2000) was actually the UAE's very first airport and is now dedicated to showcasing the history of flight in the region.
